- Imagine that you have taken these photos yourself. Choose one of them to show to your friends and comment on it. Mention the following:
- when you took the snapshot;
- what and who you can see in it and where exactly (in its centre/on the left-hand side/on the right-hand side/in the background/in the foreground);
- what is happening in the picture;
- why you took the photo;
- why you decided to show the picture to your friends.
You will have to speak for about two minutes (12–15 phrases). Speak continuously, start with “I’ve chosen photo number …”
I’ve chosen photo number 1. I took this snapshot last summer when I was on holiday by the sea. In the centre of the picture, there is a group of my friends and me. On the left-hand side, you can see the sea and a small boat. In the background, there are some trees and a bright blue sky. In the foreground, there is a picnic blanket with food and drinks.
We are sitting on the beach and talking, and one of my friends is laughing. Everyone looks happy and relaxed. I took this photo because it was a very nice and memorable day. We spent the whole day together, swimming, playing games and having fun. I decided to show this picture to my friends because it reminds us of our great holiday and the wonderful time we had together.
