1. Lead-in 1. Listen to three teenagers talking about their favourite gadgets. What gadget is each talking about? What does each use it for?

Each teenager is talking about a different gadget:

1. Tony — a games console. He uses it to play role-playing games, shooters, old-school arcade games and virtual-reality games.
2. Lisa — a mobile phone. She uses it to text her friends, make phone calls, take photos and send them by email.
3. Sophie — an MP3 player. She uses it to listen to music, especially when she is travelling by train or bus, and to shut herself off from the outside world.
