Choose two tasks from Ex. 15: one report and one proposal. Write both texts, then exchange them with a partner and check the work using the checklist.

Report

Title: Report on School Sports Facilities

Introduction: The purpose of this report is to evaluate the sports facilities at our school and suggest possible improvements.

Main body: The school has a football pitch, a gym and a small basketball court. These facilities are used regularly by students during PE lessons and after school. However, some equipment is old and needs replacing. In addition, the gym is often overcrowded, especially in winter.

Conclusion: Overall, the sports facilities are useful, but they could be improved. I recommend buying new equipment and expanding the gym area if possible.

Proposal

Title: Proposal for a School Eco-Club

Introduction: The aim of this proposal is to suggest creating an eco-club at school.

Main body: The eco-club could organise recycling campaigns, tree-planting events and lessons about protecting the environment. It would help students become more responsible and raise awareness of environmental problems. The club could also work with local organisations.

Conclusion: In conclusion, a school eco-club would be a useful and interesting project. I strongly recommend starting it next term.
