b) A different beginning and ending:

It was a cold, rainy evening when I heard a strange noise outside my window. I had no idea that this would be the start of the most unforgettable night of my life.

In the end, everything turned out well. I smiled as I walked home, knowing that I would never forget what had happened that day.
