Here is a possible version of paragraphs 2 and 3:

The writer met an old friend from school. She was of medium height with long dark hair and kind brown eyes. She looked a little tired, but she was still very attractive. She was friendly, cheerful and easy to talk to. The writer was happy to see her again after so many years.

They sat down and started talking about their lives. The woman told him that she had moved to another city and now worked as a doctor. She was very successful, but she was also modest and warm-hearted. The writer realised that she was still the same person he had known before.
