Dear Mrs Grigson,
Thank you for your letter. It was lovely staying with you, and I’m glad you found my notebook. It is quite important to me, so I would be very grateful if you could send it back to me by courier. I really enjoyed my English course and learned a lot there. I hope we can stay in touch.
As for your holiday, where are you going? How long will you be away? What do you plan to do there? Tomorrow I’m meeting some friends and then I’m going shopping.
