1. Each rubric asks you to write an article about a different topic:
- the best form of entertainment and your favourite one;
- a person who has made an important contribution to modern culture;
- your most memorable experience.
2. The readers are different in each case:
- readers of an English-language newspaper;
- readers of an international magazine;
- students and teachers reading the school magazine.
3. A good paragraph plan is:
- Introduction — introduce the topic and state your main idea;
- Main body — give examples and explain your opinion;
- Conclusion — sum up your ideas.

Theatre, Cinema or Concert?
People enjoy entertainment in different ways, but I think cinema is the best form of entertainment. It is exciting, affordable and suitable for almost everyone.
First of all, films can make us laugh, cry or think. A good movie tells a story in a very powerful way and helps us forget our daily worries for a while. Secondly, going to the cinema is a social activity. You can watch a film with friends or family and discuss it afterwards. Finally, cinemas offer a huge choice of genres, so everyone can find something they like.
Of course, theatre and concerts are also wonderful, but cinema is my favourite because it combines great stories, impressive visuals and a special atmosphere. For me, it is the most enjoyable way to spend free time.
