Last night, a daring diamond robbery took place at a jewellery store in central London. According to witnesses, two masked men broke into the shop shortly after closing time and stole a large number of valuable diamonds. The robbery happened at about 9 p.m. on Baker Street.

Police arrived quickly and chased the thieves through the nearby streets. One of the men managed to escape, but the other was caught a few minutes later. He was arrested and taken to the police station for questioning.

The police are now looking for the second robber and trying to find out whether the gang had help from someone inside the store. Investigations are continuing.
