Dear Diary,

Today was my first day at school, and I felt both excited and nervous. In the morning, I woke up early and got ready very quickly. My heart was beating fast because I did not know what to expect.

When I arrived at school, I saw many new faces. Some students smiled at me, which made me feel a little better. Our teacher was kind and welcoming, and she introduced me to the class. I tried to be brave and friendly, although I was still a bit shy.

During the lessons, I listened carefully and tried to remember everything. At first, I was worried that I might make mistakes, but soon I started to relax. By the end of the day, I felt much more comfortable.

Now I am tired, but happy. I think this school year will be interesting and full of new experiences.
