Dear Jane,
Well, here I am in Africa. It’s much hotter than I thought it would be and drier too. But it’s so beautiful. I knew Kenya would be beautiful, but I have to admit I 1) ______ that it would be so thrilling. Anyway, after 2) ______ yesterday it took us a couple of hours to get from the airport to the safari lodge. As we 3) ______ I saw lots of wild animals on the way, mostly antelope and zebra, so I can’t wait to see something really exciting, like a lion.
