Trevor Baylis was an unconventional and creative person who was not afraid to think differently. He believed that new ideas are important for progress, so he invented a wind-up radio instead of following traditional methods. His invention changed the lives of rural poor people because it gave them access to information and news without electricity. Thanks to this radio, people in remote areas could learn, communicate and feel less isolated.
