What is an ecosystem? An ecosystem is a community of living things, such as plants, animals and microorganisms, together with the non-living parts of their environment, like water, air, soil and sunlight. All these parts interact with each other.

Why is it important to preserve it? Ecosystems are important because they provide food, clean water, oxygen and natural resources. They also help keep the climate balanced and support biodiversity. If an ecosystem is damaged, many plants and animals can disappear, and people may also suffer from pollution and lack of resources.

Conclusion: We should protect ecosystems by reducing pollution, saving water and energy, recycling and taking care of nature.
