An ideal teenage citizen speaks English and at least one more foreign language. He or she is open-minded and positive about globalisation, because it helps people communicate and learn from each other.

This teenager knows his or her rights and responsibilities and respects other people’s rights too. He or she is interested in politics, follows important news and takes part in school discussions and projects.

An ideal teenage citizen contributes to school life by helping classmates, taking part in clubs, events and volunteer activities. He or she leads a healthy lifestyle, saves water and electricity, recycles rubbish and tries to be environmentally friendly.

In social behaviour, this teenager is polite, friendly, honest and tolerant. He or she respects teachers, parents and classmates and always tries to be a good example for others.
