Technology has made people’s lives more difficult in several ways. E-mail saves time, but many people spend too much time checking messages instead of doing more useful things. Cars help us get to work, but they also create traffic and pollute the air, which causes health problems such as asthma. Computers and video games have changed children’s lives too: many of them now stay indoors for hours, so they spend less time playing outside and being active.
