Follow the steps: 1 Divide the roles: two candidates and an examiner. 2 Candidates do the task and the examiner listens to them, noting down the mistakes made. 3 When the task is completed the examiner comments on the performance. 4 Then the roles switch. The options to be discussed also change. Candidate 1: What shall we do this evening?
Candidate 2: We could go to the theatre.

Candidate 2: I’m not very keen on ballet. How about going to a cafe instead?
Candidate 1: Good idea. We can have a snack and talk there.
Candidate 2: Great, let’s go to a cafe.

Examiner: The candidates spoke clearly and used polite phrases. They discussed the options and came to an agreement. A few grammar mistakes were possible, but overall the performance was good.
