Here is a possible comment on the quotations:

1. “Friendship is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies.” — Aristotle

I think this quotation makes a lot of sense. True friends often understand each other very well and feel almost like one person. They share the same thoughts, feelings and interests.

2. “A cheerful friend is like a sunny day spreading brightness all around.” — John Lubbock

I completely agree with this idea. A cheerful friend can improve your mood and make life brighter. Such people are pleasant to be with because they bring positive energy.

This quotation also makes sense to me. Friends influence our behaviour and character, so the people we spend time with often show what kind of person we are.

To me, the most sensible quotations are the ones by Henry Ford, John Lubbock and Bernard Meltzer, because they describe real friendship very clearly. The least convincing one is the first quotation by Aristotle, because it sounds too idealistic, although it is beautiful.
