Nowadays modern technologies play a huge role in our lives, and many people say that we are completely dependent on them. In my opinion, this statement is only partly true. Technologies make our life easier, faster and more comfortable, but people can still survive without them.
First of all, modern technologies save time and help us solve many everyday problems. For example, we can communicate with friends and relatives instantly, find any information in a few seconds, study online and even work from home. Besides, technologies are used in medicine, transport and education, so they improve the quality of life and make many things more convenient.
However, some people believe that modern technologies have made us too dependent on them. They say that without the Internet, smartphones or computers many people would not know what to do. I do not fully agree with this opinion because human beings lived for centuries without modern devices. Of course, life would be more difficult and less comfortable, but people would still be able to adapt and survive.
To sum up, modern technologies have a strong influence on our lives and make them much easier. At the same time, they are not absolutely necessary for survival. In my view, technologies are useful tools, but people should not become completely dependent on them.
