I have quite a lot of friends, but only a few of them are really close to me. I think it is important to have both many acquaintances and a small circle of true friends.

When I choose friends, I look for honesty, kindness, a good sense of humour and loyalty. A real friend should be someone I can trust and talk to about anything.

I value my friends very much because they support me in difficult situations, cheer me up when I am sad and share my happy moments. Life would be much less interesting without them.

Usually we spend time together after school, go for walks, talk, listen to music, watch films or help each other with homework. Sometimes we just chat online, but even that helps us stay close.

In my opinion, friendship is one of the most important things in life, because good friends make us stronger, happier and more confident.
