1. Yes, I think there are great differences between Eastern and Western ways of life and thinking. In Western countries people are usually more individualistic, independent and practical, while in Eastern cultures people often value family, tradition, respect for elders and harmony in society. For example, in the West people may speak openly and make decisions on their own, but in the East people often think more about the group and the opinion of others.

2. In Russia, I think, a mixed way of thinking dominates. Russians combine both Eastern and Western features. On the one hand, people value family, traditions and close relationships. On the other hand, many people are open to new ideas, education and personal success. That is why Russian thinking cannot be called only Eastern or only Western.

3. The way of thinking that is closer to me is the Western one, because I like independence, freedom of choice and direct communication. At the same time, I also respect family traditions and the opinions of other people, so I think a balanced way of thinking is the best.
