You can choose from: • traditional face-to-face classes • an e-learning assignment • a distance-learning course Discuss the options with your friend and choose the one you both would prefer. T h e examiner will listen to your conversation and ask questions. Remember to : • discuss all the options • take an active part in the conversation and b e polite • come up with new ideas • give good reasons for your ideas • find out your friend’s attitudes and take them into account • invite your friend to come up with suggestions • come to an agreement

A: We need to choose a mode of learning for the next month. What do you think about traditional face-to-face classes?

B: I think they are a good option because we can ask the teacher questions immediately and work with classmates.

A: Yes, that’s true. But an e-learning assignment could be more flexible. We could study at our own pace.

B: That’s a good point. However, it may be difficult to stay motivated when we study alone.

A: What about a distance-learning course? It combines online study and regular communication with the teacher.

B: I like that idea. It seems more convenient than traditional classes and more organised than a simple e-learning assignment.

A: I agree. We can learn from home, save time on travelling and still get support from the teacher.

B: So, shall we choose a distance-learning course?

A: Yes, I think that would be the best choice for both of us.
