Sample answer:

My favourite method of communication is messaging on my phone. I prefer it to other ways because it is quick and convenient. I use it to chat with my friends every day.

But if I want to contact my parents, I usually call them because it is easier to discuss important things by phone. I also use email to write to my teachers when I need to ask about homework or school projects.

We all use modern communication methods, but we are different in our preferences. My friends and I mostly use messengers and social networks, while my parents prefer phone calls. I hardly ever use letters, as they are too slow for everyday communication.
