Languages influence each other in many ways. People borrow words, expressions and even grammar structures from other languages. This happens because of trade, travel, science, technology and the Internet.

For example, English has borrowed many words from French, Latin, Italian and other languages. At the same time, English also influences other languages, especially through films, music, business and social media. As a result, languages become richer and more modern.

Scheme:

Language A → borrows words/expressions/grammar → Language B
Language B → influences Language A → new words and ideas
Trade / travel / science / media → language contact → mutual influence

So, languages do not exist separately. They are always changing and developing under the influence of one another.
