1. Yes, I believe social networking systems can help people meet real friends. For example, people can find classmates, neighbours or people with the same interests and then meet in real life.

2. No, a virtual friendship is not exactly the same as a real one. They have something in common: in both cases people communicate, support each other and share interests. But real friendship is usually deeper because people meet face to face and know each other better.

3. Yes, I have experience of using a social networking system. I have been a member of one for several years. The benefits are easy communication, quick access to information and the chance to meet new people. The drawbacks are less personal contact, the risk of fake profiles and wasting too much time online.
