• “My best friend is the one who brings out the best in me.” — I completely agree with this. A good friend helps you become a better person.
• “It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend.” — This seems too straightforward, but it is true in some cases because we expect more from friends.
• “True friendship comes when silence between two people is comfortable.” — I like this idea. It means real friends do not always need to talk to feel close.
• “Tell me what company you keep, and I’ll tell thee what you are.” — I can agree with this to some extent. The people around us often influence our character.

To sum up, the quotations that are closest to my own ideas are the ones about honesty, support, and comfortable silence in friendship.
