An average person in a big city usually works longer hours and has a more stressful and intense job. In the countryside, people often work fewer hours and their work is usually less hectic.

City people often eat fast food or have meals on the run because they are busy. In the countryside, people more often eat home-cooked, fresh food and have regular meals with the family.

As for hobbies and pastimes, city dwellers usually have more entertainment options: cinemas, theatres, shopping centres, gyms and clubs. People in the countryside often prefer quieter activities such as gardening, fishing, walking, cycling or spending time outdoors.
