I think the ideas from Ex. 49 are very important because they help us understand different points of view. In my opinion, it is useful to discuss such topics in pairs, because we can learn to express our thoughts clearly and listen to another person.

I agree with some ideas and disagree with others. For example, if the topic is about friendship, I think honesty and trust are the most important qualities. If the topic is about school or future plans, I believe hard work and responsibility are necessary.

To sum up, I think discussion is a good way to share opinions, develop speaking skills and learn to respect other people’s views.
