I have to admit that IVe never considered learning an enjoyable process. There arc loads of other things In the world I weld do rather than do lessons. The concept of lifelong learning sounds a bit frightening to me. Do you rosily th,nl. that I’ll have to study all my life and there is no way to escape it?

Thank you for your letter. I understand why the idea of lifelong learning may sound frightening, but in fact it is a normal part of modern life.

Lifelong learning means continuing to study and develop your skills throughout your whole life, not only at school or university. A person can benefit from it in many ways: he or she can learn new things, improve professional skills, stay informed and become more confident. It also helps people adapt to changes in society and in their jobs.

If a person stops learning, his or her career may suffer. Such a person can lose useful skills, become less competitive and miss good opportunities for promotion or a better job. In many professions, people who do not learn new methods quickly fall behind.

As for me, I feel positive about lifelong learning. I think it is necessary, because it helps us grow as people and makes life more interesting. Of course, learning is not always easy, but it is useful and can even be enjoyable.
