In my opinion, cloning human beings in order to provide spare body parts is morally wrong. Although the idea may seem useful for medicine, it raises serious ethical problems that cannot be ignored.
First of all, every human being has the right to life, dignity and freedom. A cloned person would not be created as an individual with his or her own future, but as a source of organs. This means treating a human being like a product or a запасной part, which is unacceptable.
Secondly, such a practice could lead to abuse. If cloning for body parts were allowed, some people might try to use it for profit or even force others to become donors. It would also create a dangerous division between people who are considered “useful” and those who are not.
On the other hand, supporters of cloning say that it could save many lives and help cure serious diseases. I agree that medicine should do everything possible to help patients. However, there are other ways to do this, such as organ donation, stem cell research and developing artificial organs. These methods are much more ethical.
To sum up, I strongly believe that cloning human beings for spare body parts is morally wrong. Science should help people, but it must never destroy human dignity.
