Yes, I know about my rights and responsibilities at school. For example, I have the right to be treated kindly, to ask for help, to be listened to, and to work in a quiet classroom. At the same time, I must do my best, complete assignments, be on time, follow the teachers’ directions, use materials neatly, and not bully others.
I find out about my rights from teachers, parents, school rules, books, the Internet, and special lessons or talks at school.
I think many young people in Russia do not know enough about their rights. To help them, schools should discuss this topic more often, organize special lessons, give simple brochures, and explain rights and responsibilities in a clear way.
