Work in pairs. Student A is a patient. Student B is a doctor. Make up a dialogue about a visit to a doctor.

Student A: Good morning, doctor.

Student B: Good morning. What seems to be wrong?

Student A: I’ve got a terrible headache and a sore throat. I also feel weak.

Student B: How long have you been feeling like this?

Student A: Since yesterday evening.

Student B: Do you think it’s a cold?

Student A: Yes, maybe. What do you think I should do?

Student B: You should stay in bed, drink warm tea and take some medicine. I’d recommend seeing a doctor again if you feel worse.

Student A: Thank you. Should I go to school tomorrow?

Student B: No, if I were you, I would stay at home and rest.

Student A: All right. Thank you very much, doctor.

Student B: You’re welcome. Get well soon!
