Упр.112 Unit 1 2020 ГДЗ Enjoy English 11 класс
Think of a public figure to add to the list in Ex. 105. Do some research on the Internet and find out some important facts from his/her biography. Write a composition of about 150—200 words, illustrate it and display in class. Follow this plan:
- Introduction: Name the person and his/her main achievements.
- Main body: Give the key facts about the person and add some interesting facts.
- Conclusion: Prove that the suggested person is a significant public figure.
One of the most famous public figures I would like to write about is Malala Yousafzai. She is a Pakistani activist for girls’ education and the youngest Nobel Prize laureate in history.
Malala was born in 1997 in Mingora, Pakistan. Her father was a teacher and encouraged her to study. When the Taliban banned girls from going to school, Malala began speaking out for education rights. In 2012, she was attacked for her beliefs, but she survived and continued her work. Later, she moved to the United Kingdom, where she finished school and entered university. In 2014, she received the Nobel Peace Prize for her struggle for children’s and girls’ education.
There are many interesting facts about Malala. She has written a book called I Am Malala, and she continues to support education projects around the world. She is also known for her courage, kindness, and determination.
Malala Yousafzai is a significant public figure because she inspires millions of people to fight for education, equality, and human rights.
