Упр.113 Unit 1 2020 ГДЗ Enjoy English 11 класс
Work in pairs. Compare and contrast these pictures. Follow the plan.
- Describe the pictures in brief.
- Say what they have in common.
- Say how they are different.
- Say which waste disposal is more environmentally-friendly.
- Explain why.
In the first picture we can see a rubbish bin full of mixed waste. In the second picture there are separate containers for different kinds of rubbish, so people can sort waste before throwing it away.
Both pictures show waste disposal. Another similarity is that people are trying to get rid of rubbish in both cases.
The main difference between these pictures is that in the first one waste is not separated, whereas in the second one there is separate waste collection. In picture one, rubbish is just thrown into one bin, while in picture two it is sorted into different containers.
In my opinion, the second way of waste disposal is more environmentally-friendly because it helps recycle waste and reduce pollution. It is better for nature when people separate waste and use bottle banks and recycling bins.
