Упр.127 Unit 1 ГДЗ Enjoy English 11 класс

127. Listen to some people speaking about this kind of behaviour and check your guesses.

People’s opinions about using mobile phones while driving:

1. Using a hands-free headset while driving is much safer and more convenient than holding and operating a phone.
2. Even a hands-free phone distracts drivers from the road. Penalties for this offence should be stricter.
3. Texting while driving is extremely dangerous because it requires both eyes and at least one hand.
4. Police should be allowed to confiscate the offender’s mobile phone for seven days. This punishment might make people think twice before using a phone while driving.
5. The law requiring drivers to use a hands-free device is unreasonable. If a person uses a mobile phone only occasionally to answer a call, it should remain legal to do so without a headset.
