Choose two of the photos and compare and contrast them. Follow the plan.

1. Give a brief description of the photos (action, location).
2. Say what the pictures have in common.
3. Say in what way the pictures are different.
4. Say which of the ways of communication presented in the pictures you’d prefer.
5. Explain why.

I’d like to compare and contrast the two photos.

The first photo shows people talking face to face in a café. The second photo shows a person using a smartphone to communicate online. Both pictures are about communication, and in both of them people are sharing information and staying in touch.

However, the photos are different in several ways. In the first picture, communication is direct and personal, while in the second one it is remote and digital. The people in the café can see each other’s emotions and body language, but the person with the smartphone communicates through a screen.

I’d prefer face-to-face communication because it is more natural and emotional. It helps people understand each other better and makes conversations more lively.
