Here is a short presentation about Lev Davidovich Landau.
Lev Davidovich Landau was one of the most famous Russian physicists of the 20th century. He was born in 1908 in Baku. Landau made a great contribution to theoretical physics and worked in many fields, including quantum mechanics, superconductivity and fluid dynamics.
He was known for his brilliant mind and original ideas. In 1962, he received the Nobel Prize in Physics for his theory of superfluidity of liquid helium. Landau also wrote important scientific books and helped to educate many young physicists.
Lev Landau is remembered as a great scientist whose work influenced modern physics all over the world.
