Students’ predictions may be similar if they all mention the same general ideas, such as the topic, the main characters, or the possible ending. They may be different in details, for example in the names, events, or reasons they give.

Example answer: Our predictions are similar because we think the text will be about friendship and problems between people. However, they are different because one of us expects a happy ending, while the other thinks the story will be sad.
