My choice of profession is influenced by many things: my interests, abilities, parents’ example, friends’ opinions, and career tests. Psychological tests can help us understand our strengths and weaknesses. I would not necessarily choose the same career as my parents, because every person should follow their own interests and talents. At the same time, my parents’ jobs can influence me by showing me what different professions are like in real life. I often discuss my future career with my friends, but I do not want to choose a profession only because they do. The opinions of my parents and teachers are the most important to me, because they know me well and can give useful advice.
