Thank you for your letter. I’m glad to help you with your project about the most popular pastimes in Russia.
In Russia, many people enjoy watching TV, listening to music, reading books and spending time with friends and family. In winter, people often go skiing, skating or sledging. In summer, many Russians like going to the countryside, swimming, fishing and having picnics. Sports are also very popular, especially football, hockey and volleyball.
Some pastimes are not very popular in Russia. For example, surfing is not common because we do not have enough warm seas. Also, golf is not as popular as football or hockey.
As for me, I like reading books, listening to music and playing computer games. I also enjoy going for walks with my friends.
