Упр.33 Unit 1 2020 ГДЗ Enjoy English 11 класс

Write to an internet forum expressing your opinion on the question: Would you like to be taught a simplified version of English?

I wouldn’t like to be taught a simplified version of English. Of course, simplified English can be useful for beginners, but for students who want to communicate freely, it is not enough.

First, real English is rich and expressive. If we learn only a simplified version, we may not understand native speakers, books, films or news. Second, a simplified language cannot fully prepare us for exams, travel or future work. We need to know grammar, vocabulary and idioms to use English confidently in different situations.

At the same time, I think teachers should explain difficult things in a clear and easy way. That would make learning more effective. But the language itself should not be simplified too much.

So, in my opinion, it is better to learn standard English from the beginning. It may be harder, but it gives us much more opportunities in the future.
