1. Yes, I believe social networking systems can help people meet real friends. For example, people can start chatting online and then meet in real life if they have similar interests.
2. No, a virtual friendship is not exactly the same as a real one. They have something in common: in both cases people communicate, support each other and share interests. But real friendship is usually deeper because people meet face to face and know each other better.
3. Yes, I have some experience of being a member of a social networking system. I have used one for several years to keep in touch with friends and classmates.
4. The benefits of virtual networking are easy communication, quick exchange of information and the chance to meet new people. The drawbacks are that people may hide their real personality, spend too much time online and sometimes face fake accounts or unsafe contacts.
