   My dear, I feel I’m really behind the class in Maths. I don’t understand it and I can’t make myself study. How can I improve my study skills? Please help!

I’d advise her to make a study plan and study Maths a little every day instead of trying to do everything at once. She should start with the topics she finds easiest, then move on to the more difficult ones. It would also help to ask the teacher or classmates for explanations when something is unclear. Practising regularly, doing more exercises and checking mistakes can improve her results. She should not be afraid of making mistakes, because they are part of learning. It is also important to rest well and stay positive.
