Comment on the following statement: Some people think that hobbies are unnecessary and having fun is just a waste of time. Others believe that hobbies help us relax and make our life better. What is your opinion?

In my opinion, hobbies are not a waste of time at all. On the contrary, they play an important role in our lives and help us become happier and more balanced people.
First of all, hobbies help us relax after school or work. When a person is tired or stressed, doing something enjoyable, such as reading, drawing, playing sports or listening to music, can improve the mood and give new energy. Second, hobbies develop our talents and skills. For example, if you like cooking, photography or learning foreign languages, you can become better at these activities and even use them in the future. Finally, hobbies make life more interesting because they give us something to look forward to.
Some people think that hobbies are unnecessary because they take too much time and do not bring practical results. They believe that it is better to spend all free time on work or study. In their opinion, fun is just a distraction from serious duties.
I do not agree with this point of view. People cannot work or study effectively if they are always tired and unhappy. Hobbies help us rest, stay motivated and keep a healthy balance between duties and leisure. Without them, life would be boring and stressful.
To sum up, I strongly believe that hobbies are useful and important. They help us relax, develop our abilities and make our life better.
