Work in pairs. What do you think of the young people’s opinions in Ex. 46? Do you agree or disagree? Discuss various ideas and opinions.

I agree with some of the young people’s opinions in Ex. 46, but I disagree with others.

For example, I think it is true that young people should be independent and make their own decisions. It helps them become responsible and confident. I also agree that friends are very important at this age, because teenagers often need support and understanding.

At the same time, I do not fully agree that young people should always follow their own wishes. In my opinion, they should also listen to their parents and teachers, because adults have more experience and can give useful advice.

So, I think the best idea is to be independent, but also respect other people’s opinions.
