Work in groups. Make a list of the most prestigious universities in your region. Would you like to enter one of them? Why? Discuss your opinions.

Here is a possible answer:

I would like to enter one of the most prestigious universities in my region because it would give me a good education and help me build a successful career. I also think it would be interesting to study with talented students and experienced teachers.

For example, the most prestigious universities in my region are:

• the State University
• the Medical University
• the Technical University

I would choose the State University because it has a strong reputation, many useful programmes and good opportunities for students.
