One successful person who did not go straight to university after school is Richard Branson.

Richard Branson was born in 1950 in England. He had difficulties at school because of dyslexia, so he left school at the age of 16. Instead of going to university, he started a youth magazine called Student. Later, he founded Virgin Records, and then built the Virgin Group, which became a huge international company.

Branson is now known as a successful businessman, investor, and adventurer. He has launched many businesses in music, travel, and telecommunications. His story shows that a person can become successful without going straight to university after school.
