Modern technologies have become an important part of our everyday life, and many people believe that we cannot live without them. This statement is partly true, because technology influences almost every sphere of our life. However, I do not think that people are absolutely dependent on modern technologies.
In my opinion, modern technologies make our life easier, faster and more comfortable. Thanks to the Internet, we can find any information in a few seconds, communicate with people from different countries and study online. Smartphones, computers and other devices help us work, learn, shop and entertain ourselves. In addition, modern medicine, transport and household appliances would be much less effective without new technologies.
At the same time, some people say that modern technologies have made us too dependent on them. They argue that if all devices suddenly stopped working, many people would not know what to do. I agree that technology is very important, but I do not agree that people would not survive without it. Human beings lived for centuries without computers, mobile phones and the Internet. Of course, life would become more difficult, but people would still be able to adapt and solve problems.
To sum up, modern technologies have a great influence on our lives and make them much more convenient. Nevertheless, people are not completely dependent on them, because they can live and survive even without the latest devices.
