Упр.65 Unit 3 ГДЗ Enjoy English 11 класс
To prepare for the conference, follow the steps:
- Do some internet research on scientific discovery / fraud.
- Adapt the material for classroom use. Try to include these points:
- What was discovered?
- How did it happen?
- Who did it?
- How does it work?
- How does it look?
- How can it change our life in the future?
- Illustrate the material.
- If it’s fraud, make it sound as scientific as possible.
- Make short notes to refer to while you are speaking.
In the conference:
- Take it in turns to give your presentations. See “Tips for giving a talk (individual long-turn exam task)” in “Learning strategies”.
- Ask questions to find out more about the subject.
- Vote for the speakers: show a white card if you believe it’s true, and a black card if you believe it’s fraud.
After the conference:
- Count the cards you got and analyse your results. Use these questions to help you:
- Did I say everything I was going to say?
- Did I speak fluently enough?
- Did I sound convincing?
- Did anything go wrong? Why?
- Write a short description of the subject you presented followed by the analysis of your presentation results.
Для конференции нужно подготовить короткое сообщение о научном открытии или о научной fraud (подделке), оформить материал для класса, сделать наглядную иллюстрацию, а затем выступить, ответить на вопросы и оценить результаты своего выступления.
Sample presentation
Subject: The Internet
The Internet was created to help people share information quickly. It started as a military and scientific project in the late 1960s. Later, it was developed by many scientists and engineers, and today it is used all over the world.
The Internet works through a global network of computers connected by cables, satellites, and wireless signals. It looks like a huge invisible system, but we use it every day on phones, tablets, and computers.
In the future, the Internet can make education, work, and communication even easier. It may also help medicine, science, and business develop faster.
