As indisputable advantages of the city, I would mention a wide choice of jobs, good transport, and many places for entertainment. In most cases the countryside cannot offer the same, but it can provide fresh air, peace, and beautiful nature.
The worst thing about living in the city is noise, traffic, and pollution. In the country I would hate being far from shops, schools, hospitals, and other facilities.
The most reasonable thing, in my opinion, is to create a new type of settlement which could combine the main benefits of both, i.e. the comfort and opportunities of the city and the clean air and quiet of the countryside, and would get rid of the drawbacks of both.
