Speaking for myself, I prefer written exams. In a written exam, I have more time to think over my answers and check them carefully. I also feel less nervous, because I do not have to speak in front of the teacher. Besides, written exams are usually more objective, since the teacher can see all my answers on paper. That is why I think written exams are better for me.
