2. What way of thinking dominates in Russia? What are your reasons?
3. What way of thinking is closer to how you think? Why do you think this is so?

Sample answer:

1. Yes, I think there are great differences between Eastern and Western ways of life and ways of thinking. In many Eastern countries people are usually more reserved, family-oriented and respectful of traditions, while in Western countries people often value individual freedom, independence and personal success more. For example, in the East people may make decisions together with the family, but in the West people often prefer to decide for themselves.
2. I think a mixed way of thinking dominates in Russia, but it is closer to the Eastern one in some respects. My reasons are that Russian people usually value family, close relationships, respect for elders and traditions. At the same time, many people also appreciate personal freedom and modern Western ideas.
3. The way of thinking that is closer to me is the Western one, because I like independence, open communication and the idea that everyone can choose their own path in life. However, I also think that traditions and family values are very important.
